The Public Works Department provides for the construction and maintenance of township infrastructure. This department is responsible for maintaining township parks, township roads including snow removal, (except private roads), maintaining all township equipment, including police cars. Stowe Township's Public Works Team is comprised of some of the best workers in the area. Public Works employees are the backbone of Stowe Townships infrastructure.
Please, during the winter months, it is against the law to throw, blow or shovel snow onto and/or back onto the streets and roadways before and/or after plowed. So please, our Public Works Team works hard as well as long hours throughout the day and night, always on call as we sleep to keep our streets and roadways clear and safe for public travel. Stowe Township Public Works Summer Help Wanted
Stowe Township is seeking applicants for summer positions within the Department of Public Works. The positions will be available to work from May until September at a rate of pay of $15.00 per hour, no other benefits.
Schedule would be Monday-Friday from 7am-3pm daily. Interested applicants can pick up an employment application at the Stowe Township Municipal Building located at 555 Broadway Ave., McKees Rocks, PA 15136 Monday-Friday between 9am-4pm.
