Overview
Who Maintains Your Road
Not every road in Stowe Township is maintained by the Township.
- Township roads are maintained by the Department of Public Works. This covers plowing, salting, pothole repair, and resurfacing.
- State roads are maintained by PennDOT. If you see a pothole or road hazard on a state route, report it directly to PennDOT at 1-800-FIX-ROAD (1-800-349-7623) or online at customercare.penndot.gov.
- Private roads are the responsibility of the property owners they serve. The Township does not plow, salt, or repair private roads.
- Not sure which category your street falls into? Call the Township office at 412-331-4050 and we can tell you.
