All solicitors operating within Stowe Township are required to obtain a permit and comply with Township regulations prior to conducting door-to-door activity.

Regulating Solicitation in Stowe Township

Stowe Township requires all individuals engaging in door-to-door solicitation to obtain a valid solicitor permit issued by the Township Secretary and approved through a background check conducted by the Police Department.

Permits must be carried at all times and presented upon request. Solicitation is permitted only during approved hours and in accordance with Township regulations.

  • All solicitors must obtain a Township-issued permit prior to activity
  • Background checks are required through the Police Department
  • Permits must be carried and shown upon request
  • Solicitation is only permitted during approved hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
  • Unauthorized solicitation should be reported to 911 if necessary

If an individual is soliciting without a valid permit, residents should contact the Police Department for verification. In situations where behavior is suspicious or urgent, call 911.
